Emma Lou Atwood/Attwood was born 15 Oct 1884 per her tombstone. She told the census taker she was born in TX. I haven't been able to find a sixteen year old with her parents in the 1900 census, or without parents for that matter. She married Alpheus P. Brown about 1906, they were in the census of Johnson Co., TX in 1910, Hopkins Co., TX in 1920 and Beckham Co., OK in 1930. They are both buried in the Fairlawn Cem. in Elk City, OK. They named their first child John Bradford Brown. Alpheus' father was John so perhaps her father was Bradford???
