Thanks for the information. The only way I obtained the information that I have is from the Social Security Application of Velar Killman, who was married to Abner or Albert Stockton. Velar died in Nashville. Her application stated that her parents were G. W. Stockton and Rebecca Ann Ashlock, both of TN. I don't really know this side of my family tree. I am hoping to connect with this side of my family in order to find out more information, but sometimes that is even hard because they don't have the information or they are particularly favorable toward geneaology. thx again and I will try to dig more to see what I might be able to come up with.
