From my original post awhile back I have been doing some research and have new details, would apprieciate any input...if any available The reason I have not been able to find any info concerning my Grandfather is because it appears he may have been adopted in 1882 and from Pennsylvania resided in Niles, Ohio either with his given name or his adopted name. Some records show that in 1904 as the adopted son, the only heir to John T Arthur of Johnstown, Pa receive estate compensation from Annie Arthur, John T's wife and executor of the estate. other records show his known name as being filed for adoption along with another name of Clayton Bryan 1882. ...The Good Search requires patiences...something I am learning as time moves on
