Hello Loretta, I have James Robert Dale, born July 12, 1836 in Pickens Co., Alabama, a son of Albert & Mary F. "Gunter" Dale. He died June 21, 1915 in Monroe Co., Miss. James married Margaret Read Hawkins Jan. 19, 1864, and they had four children; Mary A. Sanders, John, Jesse, and Thompson Dale. Albert Dale was born July 7, 1808 in S.C., the son of Robert T. & Elizabeth (Adare) Dale. Albert first married Mary F. Gunter abt. 1833/1835 in Pickens County, Alabama. Mary F. Gunter was born Jan. 7, 1816 in Tennessee, the daughter of John Lastine & Sarah (Tittle) Gunter. Albert and Mary F. had three children James Robert, Sarah Jane Walters, and John Newton Dale.
