I am looking for info on Haneys that migrated from Sebastian County, Arkansas to Oklahoma, maybe around 1900. Mary Jane Haney was listed as widowed head of house in 1880 in Sebastian County, Arkansas. Her children were George, b. 1870; Hess b.1864, sis; Mahaley, b. 1877. I think I have found George in Coalgate Cemetery, Coalgate, Okla. and Hess in Monroe Cemetery at Monroe, Oklahoma in LeFlore County. I am looking for Mary Jane's husband's name and her maiden name. There are no dates on the stones at Monroe Cemetery and a death certificate can't be located. Hess's headstone is a single stone with the following "Hester 'Hess', Annie B. and son Garvin". The Garvins and Haney's seemed to be close families. Mahaley's second marriage was to a Garvin--my grandfather. Mary Jane Haney, later, married a Solomon Armstrong and is found in the 1910 Census with my 2 year old aunt at White Twp, Polk County, Arkansas. Ruth
