No need to apologize....for anything.
Yes, all our ancestors are important. I meant putting to rest the Native American aspect of your family, and to concentrate on naming James' parents.
I, too, supposedly have NA ancestry, but after 35yrs, I finally gave up finding him/her. I've been told of letters from the Bureau of Indian Affairs in the early 1900s OK, but the husbands of my g-aunts would not allow them to respond, and I'm assuming my g-gma also rec'd such a letter.... and believe it or not, help from my dentist. There is an "odd" molar [right/bottom] which, according to the Dr, is evidenced ONLY in Asians/Native Americans, and I possess this molar.
