Johnnie Luella Hoard June 17, 1917 - December 22, 2007 Knoxville , Johnson Johnnie Luella Parker Hoard, 90, of Knoxville, Arkansas passed away Saturday December 22, 2007 at her daughter's home in Knoxville. She was born June 17, 1917 in Mooreville, Mississippi to the late Marion and Rachel Plunkett Parker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Marianna, AR. Johnnie was survived by two daughters, Linda Reece of Knoxville, and Lawanda Thornsberry of Arlington, Tennessee; one son Bobby Hoard of Marianna, Arkansas; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Hoard and son Darral Hoard, sisters Ollie Parker Mitchell, Era Parker Green, Bommer Parker Burgess, and Sarah Helen Parker Davidson; two brothers, Buck Parker and Dan Bullard. Johnnie was a homemaker who enjoyed taking care of her family. Johnnie and her late husband, Leroy, farmed in Lee County and she shared and helped with the everyday details. Visitation is 9-10:30 AM Wednesday December 26, 2007. Services 11:00 AM Wednesday 26, 2007. Burial will follow at Marianna Memorial Park. In Lieu of flowers memorials in Johnnie's honor may be made to First Baptist Church, 47 West Main, Marianna, Arkansas 72360.
