Hello. My name is Sandy Darnell. My maiden name was "Gamble" and my parents were Bryan E Gamble (born in Independence Co. Arkansas) and Charlene Marshall. My father's parents were Edward G Gamble (who changed the spelling of his name from "Gambill" in the early 1900's) and who was born in Craighead Co. Arkansas and Bertha V Apple. Ed Gamble's parents were Joseph W Gambill (born in Craighead Co. Arkansas) and Sidney N Ishmael born in Arkansas. Sidney's parents I believe were John G Ishmael (born in Tennessee) and Jane Wyatt. I am currently looking into finding a marriage license on John and Jane to verify this part, but I know for certian that Sidney Ishmael-Gambill was my Great Grandmother. Any further information you might have on this would be greatly appreciated.
