Linda, The most commonly recognized Tartan for Allardice is Graham of Menteith. This is because Sir John Allardice married Lady Mary Graham, sister of the last Earl of Menteith, in 1662. Since then, Allardice’s have been the heirs of the Menteith line and thus a Sept of Clan Graham and hence the Graham Menteith Tartan.
