Great! I am happy to find you. Robert Leslie Alcorn was his name, and his son was Jr. He lived in OK, where my Mother told me of visiting with them with her mother and brothers as a young girl. Charity died there, as did Alex's wife, and Mother said Alex's wife made him promise to stay with Alex and help rear the children. They came to Young Co., TX for a short time and then came by my Mother's house in Olney, TX and visited with her on their way to CA. She visited Oscar and someone else in CA. Pearl came to Olney from IL to visit with us when Clarence was stationed at Shepherd Field in Wichita Falls, from which he left for England and then was killed at Normandy five days after the invasion of FRance.
I have lots of information and would like to know more.
