Source book Pennsylvania Genealogies, pg.442 - Hugh McCORMICK m.1749 Sarah ALCORN, dau/of James ALCORN and Mary _______?. Children: 1)James b. 1750, m. Isabella Dixon 2) Mary b. 1752, m. Capt. Robert Peebles, a wealthy farmer who resided near Shippensburg, PA. They had 4 sons, all of whom married and settled in the same neighborhood. 3) Thomas b. 1754, d. 6 Oct 1826; located, about 1775, on South creek, a branch of White Deer Hole creeks, in Lycoming county, Pa., about three miles from its mouth; was justice of the peace for some years; m. Elizabeth Crockett; their remains lie buried in the Old Presbyterian, now Lutheran, graveyard, on the southwest side of Penny Hill, in Buffalo Valley; left no issue, he had adopted his great-nephew, to whom he bequeathed his estate.
