Paul, do you know the name of the town in Ireland which has a lot of Alcorns living there and do you correspond with them? It might help us to contact them as they may have information on people who immigrated to the US which we don't have. My ancestor, I think, was George Renfew Alcorn (only have one source on that name) came over from Ireland between 1680 and 1721. I've also heard that there were three brothers: James, Thomas and William. It's possible they were sons of George and came over together. My one sorce for George indicates he died on the trip. I know they had to be here prior to 1728. Anyway, if you have contacts, I would appreciate your help in getting in touch with them. Also, are you researching your Alcorn ancestors?

Thanks for your help,
