Though I am not researching the Alcorn family, I have found that there were, or are, two Alcorn families. One is in Jessamine Co., Ky. and one in Estill Co., Ky. I found this out working with a girl in Florida who is researching my family as well as Alcorn. You might also want to look at Hicks family records, since there were many, many Alcorn-Hicks marriages and Hicks-Alcorn marriages.
