I am trying to locate the family of a Mary Alcorn who was married to Henry L. Dennis in the Jefferson Co/Washington Co, Il area. Mary and Henry were my gr-gr-grandparents and I am having problems finding info on Mary Alcorns family. My gr-grandmothers marriage license states that she was married in Richview at her parents (Henry Dennis and Mary Alcorn) home. The license also states Mary was born in Tennessee but I find conflicting information on the county she would have been born in. I tend to believe that Mary was closely related to Hansel as they were from the same locality in Illinois. all I have for her at this point is the above information and a photo. I know her and Henry are buried at the Grand Point Cemetery (I believe that is in Richview) and that per the photo I see Mary was born in 1850 and died in 1931. I believe she passed away in Jefferson Co, Il and just prior to her death she had been living with her daughter Ida and son-in-law David Beal. Any information that anyone may have regarding her parents and siblings would be greatly appreciated!!
