Someone might be interested in starting an Alanis/Alaniz DNA project. It would be really great to see who is related and who isn't, where the different lines originated, and where they are living now. The more participants you have the more exciting!!! You might not be able to determine your common ancestor but at least you would know you were related. It has to be a male with the surname Alanis/Alaniz. The male passes down his father's, father's, father's,DNA. It is fascintating to say the least. I started a DNA project over two years ago with two participants. We have nine who have the same identical DNA and therefore we are cousins. AMAZING! Just a thought if anyone might be interested I could spark some interest. We used www.familytreedna.com. You can begin your project and creat a public site. By going to this site, all participants get group discounts. |
