I'm still trying to find anyone who might have information on the parents of the above named Henry Jackson. The 1850 Census (Bienville Parish, Louisiana) lists as follows: Jackson, Henry 29 farmer NC NC NC Eliza 26 housewife NC NC NC Leonidas 5 son AL NC NC Nancy 3 daughter AL NC NC John 1 son LA NC NC His father's name MAY be Henry or Travis.
