William Aird & his wife Jane (maiden name unknown). William died 1832 & is buried at Bangor Abbey. They had a daughter named Ellen or Eleanor who married John Bowden in 1828, in Donaghadee. Ellen or Eleanor born abt. 1801. John & Ellen Bowden went to Australia in 1854, but returned to Scotland after 1875, leaving behind 3 of their five children, 2 of the children William & John never went to Aust. in 1854 William Bowden m Catherine Hayes John Bowden No info on him at all. Martha Jane Bowden m Andrew Telfer George Murray Bowden m Julia O'Donnell Abraham Liggett Bowden m Mary Telfer It is the Aird side of the family that I am interested in, but any info on the above would be appreciated
