Looking for information on Julia Ahearn, who helped raise my grandmother, in NYC, about 1918 forward. Julia may have been a foster parent, I don't know. My grandmother was raised by Julia and perhaps her husband while my granduncle remained at home with their father. Grandmother was born February 1915, so she was about 3 years old. Only information I have is the name, which could be Ahearn or Ahern, and that Julia Ahearn's husband may have died on in a hospital on an island in New York City.
