[sent March 17]

Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone. I hope you have found some fitting way
to celebrate our Irish heritage.

Today is March 17th. On this date in 1875 the New York Herald carried the

The Ahern obituary index has now passed the 3,275 mark. The earliest new
obituary is for Chicago Patrolman John O'Hearn who was run over by a
trolley, 5 September 1903. The most recent new obituary is for Mary F.
