Regenia the name of barnett first appears in my family as a son of Joseph of 1845 from kentucky. We know this family useally named their children after the generation before it so I am thinking this may be an uncle of Joseph or even a great Uncle. I have been searcing for three brothers that came to america in the mid 1700. this could very well be one of them, old Christopher ( father of Christopher 1745)and John being the other two. I believe old john to be the father of my joseph 1773. these three brothers did not stay together. Someone said (I thinik it may have been Lynae Dickerson)that Old John Was killed by indains. I would like to know more about this, as he disappears from records after the 1800 records in Mason and campbell counties Kentucky.
