on the 1860 Census, there is a Jacob Acles,, 53 yrs old with wife Charlotty 41 yrs and family in McNairy Co., TN, Dist 9. He is on the 1870 census in same area but spelled JACOB EKLES, 62 yrs old & wife Charlottey 53 yrs. old. I am searching for a WILLIAM EKLE who married a FRANCES CUNNINGHAM 1862. Jacob was the bondsman so William was a possible son, etc. Does anyone have any information on this family?
