Does anyone know of any online site for the FRENCH AND INDIAN WAR that would have a roster or muster roll for the- 3rd Rgt, 8th Co., who served under Captain John Jeffry of Cornwall,CT and Lt. Charles Woodruff of Litchfield, CT? I am told my gr gr gr gr grandfather - ROBERT TOMS, served from 09-Apr-1756 to 29-NOV-1756 with this force. They marched from Cornwall, CT to Crown Point, NY and I am interested in learning more about their campaign. Thanks for any help or insight offered.
