I am also searching the Finn Family. I have a Williams, Thomas, James, and John but not in the Late 1700's. These Finns were in NY and traveled to Minnesota. William was born in the early 1800's he placed an ad in the Pioneer press looking for a cousin with same name and located in NY. James married Ellen O'rouke or O'Rourke in Ireland/Great Britian and their son James was born in 1850-51 in NY. MY GG grandfather, Thomas Finn born 1834-35 in Ireland/Great Britian was the son of John. Thomas married Catherine O'brien in 1861. Is there any connection further down the line.. I can't seem to find exactly where they lived before coming to the states. I know they had family here before they arrived.
