I show only three Hiram Wayne Lett. (1) son of Joseph and Susannah Pauley Lett. This Hiram is buried in the Newman Cem. in Wayne County, Wva. He was married at least twice. Mary Ann Ferguson was his first wife. His second wife was Jane?. His tombstone shows his birth as 31Jan1828 and death as 14Sep1898. He had many children who died in infancy and nine children who survived childhood. (2) Hiram Wayne Lett Jr. was the son of Hiram's brother James Anthony Lett and therefore a nephew. This Hiram was born about 1865 and married Henrette Jerrell.(3)The older Hiram had a grandson (a son of Lafe Lett and Martha Jane Ferguson) also named Hiram Wayne Lett. That grandson was born 9Oct1885 and died 4Apr1944. The oldest Hiram never had a son named Jr. that I have found.
