My name is Thomas Benjamin Parker and I'm trying to get back some information I received in 1999 in regards to my ancestors. I received a contact from a person named Dell who had a complete chronology of my family dating back to William Parker. Let me please give you what I know.. My dad was Rasmus Guy Parker, b. 1896/99 d.1984 in Pittsylvania Co. Va. in a place called Sandy Level west of Gretna on Us 40.. In 1962, when I was attending Hargrave Military Academy in Chatham, Dad gave me the grand tour of the area he grew up in. I met his still living aunt, Willy Ann, 101 and saw the house his brother Gary died with the TB in 1918.

Dad's father was Earnest Parker, b.1862 d.1957 and I had the chance to meet him in 1955 and 1957 before he died. He married Lottie ? in 1889 and they had George, b. 1891 d. 1960, Gary, b. ? d.1918 of TB, dad, Annie Parker Shelton who married Chess Shelton, b. 1893 d. 1990 , Coleman b.? D. ?

I believe Earnest's father was Elijah Parker but I do know from that piece of paper I have looked the whole house over to find it that my direct descendent was William Parker born in 1777 and died in 1854.

I wish I could find that piece of paper that had all of the siblings on it and the complete parker line of my family. I do know I paid attention to William Parker (1777-1854) and it went back no further. I would like to explore the Parker line at least back to England. I have been told that My line of Parkers are FFV's (First Family of Virginia).

If anyone can help, I would Greatly appreciate it. Looking forward to hearing from all you fine folks.

Thomas Parker
Hampton, Va.
