George Edward Collidge and Alice Florence Smith

Looking for any assistance tracking down information on George Edward Collidge and Alice Florence Smith.
George apparently was born in Tasmania (not confirmed), moved to Lithgow in NSW (probably for the mining), married Alice Florence Smith in 1909, had 3 children, moved back to Tasmania and fathered 5 more children. He fought in WWI (war record found) and passed away in 1926.
Alice Florence Smith is the daughter of Andrew Smith who passed away young and was raised by Philip Harper of Corneytown. Her mother's name may or may not be Sarah Boyle (middle initial C or J), but there's no hard evidence of that. After George passed, she remarried James Henry Burton and lived on Bruny Island with no further children.
I'm very keen to find out who George Collidge's parents are. Any leads useful.
