According to some information I've read (unverified), the bible record of Dolly Robertson's brother, Edward, indicates Dolly (Dorethea) Robertson was born on 25 April 1768. Dolly Robertson married first Mr. Thomas Pollard. They evidently had a daughter.

Dolly married second Frederick Lester on 05 Sep 1797 in Lunenburg Co, VA. Frederick was the son of Bryant Lester and Sarah Winbush. They moved to Georgia, then Lawrence Co, AL and finally to Russellville, Franklin Co, AL, where Frederick Lester died. He is supposed to be buried in the Sargent Cemetery, several miles east of Russellville.

From what I've read, Frederick and Dolly Lester had only girls. I know the names of two: Tralucia Lester and Louisa Winbush Lester. Tralucia married Philip O'Riley in 1826.

From “Marriage, Death and Legal Notices From Early Alabama Newspapers, 1819-1893” compiled by Pauline Jones Gandrud, 1981 (Southern Historical Press), page 138:

October 25, 1826
“Married 3rd inst. Mr. Philip O’Riley of Russellville to Miss Tralucia H. Lester of Lawrence Co. (Letter to us from a descendant says Tralucia was b. Mar. 1805 daughter of Frederick Lester and wife Dolly (Robertson) Pollard, and widow of Thomas Pollard.”

The other daughter, Louisa Winbush Lester, married Temple Sargent. Louisa had previously been married to a Mr. Gannaway. Temple Sargent was the son of James Sargent and Polly Lea. Temple was born 02 Dec 1781 in Caswell Co, NC and died on 18 Aug 1850 in Russellville, AL and is buried in Sargent Cemetery.

Louisa Lester Sargent and some of her children then moved to Itawamba Co, MS. Louisa supposedly died in 1860, probably in Itawamba Co, MS.

Temple and Dolly Sargent had numerous children. His first wife was Mollie (or Peggy) Russell. One of the daughters of Temple and Dolly was Dolly Sargent, my ancestor, who was born in 1831.She first married James Madison Sargent (her cousin, who died in 1858 in Monroe Co, MS).

Dolly then married Robert Adam West (b. 1830 in Greenville, SC). Robert West is buried in Bethany Cemetery, Lee Co, MS and I assume Dolly is also. There are no markers (or records) for their graves.

2.Emma L. Sargent
Born: ?
Married: Marcellas Cochran, Pontotoc, MS
Died: 70+ years old
Buried: Pontotoc, MS
Children: Jim, Troy, Belle, Minnie

3.Rufus Sargent
Born: 1855

Robert Adam West and Dolly Sargent had the following children:

Born: 1861 Birmingham, MS (was part of Pontotoc Co then)
Married: Samuel Augustus Scott on 24 Feb 1886 in Lee Co, MS
Died: 1 Nov. 1936 (75 years old); cause of death: pneumonia
Buried: Old Bethany Cemetery, Lee Co, MS on 2 Nov, 1936
Children: male (died at about 1 month of age from croup, no name, probably buried in Birmingham, MS), Roger Quarles Mills (born 27 Dec 1893 in Birmingham, MS; m. Lucy Roberta Sansom on 20 Aug 1920 in Chickasaw Co, MS; died 17 Oct 1964; buried in Bayview Cemetery, Pensacola, Escambia Co, FL), female (died in infancy from croup, no name, probably buried in Birmingham, MS), Ruby Irene (born 24 Jan 1897 in Bethany, Lee Co, MS; never married; lived in Humboldt, TN; died on 13 Oct 1982 in Memphis, Shelby Co, TN: buried in Bayview Cemetery, Pensacola, Escambia Co, FL), Nanny Belle (died at about 5 years of age from croup)

2. Phillip Lester
Born: in Birmingham, Lee Co, MS; lived in McKinney, Collin Co, TX (near Dallas/Fort Worth)
Married:
Died: at 70+ years
Buried: McKinney, TX
Children: Clarence, Claude, Dolly Estelle, Mary Belle

3. William McFarin (Willie Mack)
Born: maybe Birmingham, Lee Co, MS
Occupation: Mule Skinner
Lived in Peoria, Ill for a period of time
