Hi Ann

I was fascinated to read your message. We are trying to track down information on Mary Mckinnon who was shown on the 1881 Census for Bute North, Bute, Scotland as being aged 68 and being born on the Isle of Muck, presumably in 1813. We think that this Mary Mckinnon was Mary Mcneil who married an Archibald Mckinnon in about 1838, and whose descendants were Catherine (1838), Ann (1840), Donald (1841), Margaret (1846), Neil(1849), Christina (1852) and Marion (1853).

Any info you may have on the Isle of Muck or the Mckinnons/Mcneils would be much appreciated.

Regards, Barbara

P.S. Don't be confused by the email address: I haven't got email myself but a friend has kindly let me use his. I am an eighty-year old, descended from Mary Mckinnon and living in New Zealand.
