No, I'm afraid that I haven't found a Mary Rogers in my info. I have seen a few Jones names, though. The info that I have is from Debra Buchanan Roach. Do you know who James W. Buchanan's parents were? Here's part of what I have:

Joseph BUCHANAN is the earliest proven ancestor of our Buchanan line. Information suggest that Joseph may have been the son of James BUCHANAN and Elizabeth Willis, daughter of William WILLIS of Virginia and North Carolina. This James BUCHANAN appears to be the brother of Arthur BUCHANAN, whose son William BUCHANAN and his wife Elizabeth
JONES (sister to Joseph's wife Sarah JONES) were the ancestors of another large Buchanan family that lived in the same part of North Carolina as did the descendants of our Joseph BUCHANAN. The evidence from North Carolina land and estate records points to this connection.
It is unknown at present from which BUCHANAN family JAMES BUCHANAN of Charles County, Maryland, descends, or whether he is the generation who emigrated to Maryland from Scotland or Northern Ireland. Nothing more is known about the origins of this family, we have not been able
to link them to the proper BUCHANAN line in Maryland, but the search continues on this line to future prove its origins.

FAMILY NOTES:

Our ancestors James and Arthur are named in the will of their grandfather William WILLIS.

James and Arthur BUCHANAN, both appear in the Burke and Rutherford County North Carolina records beginning in the 1780s, on land that later became part of Yancey and Mitchell County.

According to family history, and Maryland estate records, James and Arthur were the sons of James BUCHANAN and Isabella GAMES, of Charles County, MD. When their father James died in Charles County, MD, in 1750, his estate records list the name of his widow Isabella and children James, 18; George, 15; Sarah, 12; Arthur, 9; Benedictor/a;
3; and Joseph, 1.

Arthur BUCHANAN who married Mary BOSWELL, is documented in the family Bible of Mrs. Naomi Sparks of Estatoe, NC. Transcribed in 1931; his children were said to be James (who died as a child), William (who married Elizabeth
Jones), Annie (who died as a child), Benedictor, Arthur and a second daughter Annie and son James (both presumably named in memory of their older Siblings who had died previously).

1782 Wills, William Willis left his plantation on the Broad River to grandson, Arthur Buchanan, son of Elizabeth and James Buchanan.

Sarah also had a daughter, Sallie/Sarah she is said to be an AUTMAN; even though she is listed BUCHANAN. She was born about 1855, married a COX. She is said to be from Sarah's first marriage. No more is known about Credia or Sallie.

A.J., Sarah and their children lived on Beans Creek in Mitchell County, N.C. Both are buried under a double headstone at Beans Creek Freewill Baptist Church.

The search for information about the family of Sarah McINTYRE continues. On the 1900 Mitchell County census, she is living with her son Joseph Filmore and his two young children. It is believed that she died about 1909, before the state of North Carolina was required to keep death records.

And that's it. My gr-gr-grandfather, William Greenberry Buchanan, married Lillie Malelle (or Maynell) Miller and they had a daughter named Sarah Selina Buchanan, my great-grandmother. She married Moody Parsons Johnson and they had a daughter named Lilly Rosanne Johnson (still living) who married John Thomas McCombs. They had a daughter named Patsy Ann McCombs - who is my birth mother.

I know this doesn't contain ANY of the information that you were searching for, but I thought that it may be helpful to you in some way - or to someone else out there who is doing research.
