Here's an abstract of Alex. Ewing's will. Hope it will help.

Ewing, Alexander,18th Apr., 1738;
15th Mch., 1738.
To wife––, 1/3 of personal estate and share of plantation as law directs.
To son James, ½ of plantation.
To sons John and William, other ½ of plantation, William Husbands to make the division. Son James to pay £20 to dau. Margarett when she arrives at age of 16; John and William to pay to son Samuel £20 at age of 16.
To son-in-law Andrew Porter, personalty.
Shd. sons incline to sell their portion of lands, it shall be to their brother. Sons James and John to be bound to trades, William and Margrett, likewise.
Exs.: Andrew Barry, Esq., James Porter, Samuel Ewing and Nathaniel Ewing.
Test: William Mitchell, Robert Gillespie, Rachall Ewing. Probate taken in presence of James, eldest son of testator. 22. 52.
