Compilation of Central Illinois Maxwells

With the help of a number of people, this summary of some Maxwells answers a lot of questions. If you spot any errors, let me know.

I am searching for more info on Martin and his daughter Maud.

William Maxwell Sr.
Fought in Rev. war. From Scotland via Ireland? Implied existence since Jr. exists.
Possibly m. Elizabeth McCutcheon in 1760
Issue:
A. Richard (hearsay existence)
B. William Maxwell Jr. b. Jan 1778 Virginia or PA d. Est. 1806-1869
m.17 Feb 1797 Clarke Co. KY m. Ann Judy b. 8 Sept 1780
Lived in Bourbon Co. KY (They divorced. Ann married 2) Jacob Ellis July 25, 1836. Some doubt about which children were William's. One source has Ann d. 1828. Could be some duplicate name confusion. William father of at least 5 children born in Fulton Co.
Issue: 13 children in one report. 10 boys and 1 girl confirmed:

in Shawneetown, Illinois Married Matilda Greenwood on Sept. 17,1819 in Jefferson co. Illinois -documentation on infoseek in 1820 census for Jefferson Co. Ill.
2. Hugh b. Feb 13, 1800 Clark Co. KY d. 1855 Doniphan Co. KS m. 1st
wifeFlora Camron on Dec. 28, 1819 in Fulton co. Illinois
2nd wife Sarah Beadles married on June 10, 1833 lived in Buchanan Co Mo
Child born in Mo. in 1839 must have gone to Missouri before that.
there is also a Jane Maxwell age 20 b. Illinois on the Buchanan Co. census, may have been the child of Flora Camron.

        Co.,llinois. Married Mary Ann (Polly) Cameron November 23, 1824 in Sangamon County Illinois. Eight children:
