Anthony, you are mixing two John's together. There was John Jr. son of Thomas who married first Constant Caswell and then married Martha Condon after Constant died. The other John was John Sr. who married Ruth Suggs. This John was also raised by Thomas and Catherine Biggs Mercer,but he was his nephew. I see this posted over and over. Check out the wills, both John's left wills. The John who married Ruth Suggs died in 1751 and John JR. died in 1777.
