GRAVE MARKER
Posted by: Chris Wozniak (ID *****5662) Date: December 21, 2013 at 17:21:29

Peder Westrum (Vestrum) died in 1908 Canby, MN. His wife Elizabeth died in 1909. They immigrated from Norway in 1883 They are both buried in Wergeland Cemetery near Porter, MN. They were my great great grandparents. I visited the cemetery this summer but found the grave markers puzzling. Elizabeth had a large upright monument and in back of this two small white square stones that had PW on one and EW on the other. What gives??? Thanks for any info----no one left to ask in my family.
