Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

This is very nice of you.

The ultimate source is probably ASSOCIATION FOR GRAVESTONE STUDIES, heavily based in New England. http://www.gravestonestudies.org/

They are sort of a clearing house for knowledge/resources/material nationwide.

My group, Coalition to Protect Maryland Burial Sites, is a reciprocating member. We also reciprocate (or have) with many other such groups. http://www.cpmbs.org/ (Past President, currently Treasurer)
