Tip

I was fortunate to be able to obtain unlimited long distance in my area (Washington, DC) just a few years ago.

This is a great tool along with the web. Try calling. It is amazing what help you can obtain even if you are in the wrong place.

I am looking for a grave in a cemetery in Cleveland,OH (1847-1854)

I found there were not many cemeteries that early.

So I atarted calling all the cemeteries posted on Google.

I finally found a nice man who said the most likely cemetery was _____ but its records were now in a different location and he gave me the address. He said do not call but write them a letter.

I thanked him profusely and wrote a letter.

Before this all (on the web) I got was 'sent me $30.00 and we will let you access our database.'
