Nelson: There is a microfilm which you should be able to rent from and view at your local LDS library. The title: "Records of Soule Cemetery: including Auburn Section, Sennett Section, Mt. Pleasant Annex, Mt. Hope, Hillcrest, Sunny-Side, West Lawn and Fairview" Whew! The author given is Soule Cemetery, the film citation is FHL US/CAN Film [547241 Item 7] 1 35mm Reel. I believe the rental charge is very nominal - best check with your local LDS for cost, procedure, etc. All of this assumes that the city doesn't come through with a satisfactory reply to your request. An alternative would be to request death certificates for both parties since they died after NY instituted vital record keeping. There are no restrictions since the records (if any) have been on file for more than 50 years. However, George's DC, if extant, might not have a whole lot of info. I have obtained DCs from the late 1800s and they generally don't have much - just name, age, sex, race, physician and cause of death. On the other hand, Delia's should have quite a bit of info, possibly the funeral home handling the burial and where she is buried. Since you indicate that you don't have exact death dates then you would have to request a search and that's where things CAN get pricey. Here is a link to NY's vital records office: http://www.health.state.ny.us/vital_records/genealogy.htm Hope this helps. Notify Administrator about this message?
