William Dolan grave in WI

Hello
Just taking a chance on putting some info out there. I am trying to locate my gr-grandfather's grave in WI. He is supposedly buried in a Bayfield or Ashland Co. Cemetery. I have checked cemetery sites on line, called churches in the area, etc. etc. Anyone have any more ideas.

William Dolan
Abt 1845, D 12/23/1892
Vital Records list him as buried in Ashland Co.
Family claims he is buried in Benoit, WI, Bayfield CO.
