Stefan, I checked findagrave website but there is no listing for Locust Grove Cemetery in Dauphin Couty although there are several Locust Grove Cemeteries in other counties, some nearby. Here is the link so you can check for yourself:

A quick check of the Dauphin County GenWeb site has info on a John Bender ca. 1817, who surveyed the town of Elizabethville. The town was named for his wife Elizabeth. This fellow is buried in the "Old Stone Church Cemetery" along with quite a few others with the Bender surname. There are two "Adam" Benders buried there: Adam 1815-1892 and Adam Q. 1808-1884, as well as Elizabeth 1822-1906. The Bender name tells me that these folks were probably German so beware of German naming customs. Johan or Johannes or such may have been his spiritual name and Adam could have been his secular or call name. If so, then he most likely went by Adam and not Johan or the anglicized version, John. Findagrave does not have a specific address for Old Stone Church Cemetery but I'm sure the local historical society can give you the info, if you think this might be the fellow you are searching for.....not the answer you wanted but perhaps it helps.
