Many of you are aware of our on-going cemetery project chronicled on the TAMPICO HISTORICAL SOCIETY'S website. The Cemeteries we are working on are:

I have started with the Tampico Memorial Cemetery, and this index is an example of how all of the cemetery indexes will be formatted in the near future. Eventually, you will be able to go to the index, find the name and also be able to click on a link to the photo of the headstone, and funeral log information, an obit and any other pertinent information on the person, such as family photos, biographies, etc.
I encourage you to contact me with any spelling corrections, etc. I need your help. These were transcribed by the sexton originally and then by me. Errors are inevitable! We want to get these correct. Once completed, we will also offer it in book or cd format as well. If you would like to help in any way for any of these cemeteries, please contact me at your earliest convenience. Thank you.
