Photo's of surnames at Old Clem Cemetery, Greys Knob, KY
Last year in August my mother and I had gone to a ‘FARMER’ reunion in Benham, KY and visited the Old Clem Cemetery in Greys Knob. This was my first time in KY, (mother was born in Harlan) and LOVED IT! I had taken some pictures of some graves, but sadly to say there were a lot of them that I couldn’t and wasn’t able to get too, a lot of them had high weeds and snakes/bees (got stung once, but worth it). I also have some that are unmarked graves and some that couldn’t be read…wish I knew who they were.
Below you will find some of the surnames, please take a look and if you see any you are familiar with, if so, email me with first names and dates and I will see if I have them for you. I am in hopes to make it up to KY again this year if my mother is well enough to go, she had two strokes last Sept and she is recuperating from that still. And of course our funds are low this year. I’m praying that we will be able to make it…it is something my mother would like to do in making one more last trip there before she feels the Lord decides to take her away, I guess you can say it’s her last wish.
