Sorry, I don't know any associations in AL.We don't have any listed on our site.Was hoping maybe you have 1 around there that could help you immediately w/laws.Maybe a search on the 'net to see if any org's in AL come up?
I think many times you'll find no sign on graveyards about ownership or even no-tresspassing.As I said, it's always best to contact the owner, but frankly, when the 'yard's on the road or very easy to get to, I don't generally worry about it.I do worry about it when you actually penetrate other territory.I think you said yours was on the road, too, so guess you just ran out of luck.I wouldn't be too afraid, though.Maybe go back to the person and talk it over.
Also, if you have no idea whom to see about permission, you might have to go to the local tax records office or a real-estate broker (they're handy if you have a friend who's 1) and find the latest plats.Heck, you might even get neighbors/close shops to help you find who it is and contact info, which would be easier than the County.
