This Article was in the paper 5/11/2002. It leaves many unanswered questions. Whose bones did they find? How many tombstones are buried there? Did they really move any bodies to a new internment site? What did the Archaeologists say after this investigation took place? How and who do you contact if you would like more information? Why did they even bother putting this in the paper if they weren't going to follow it up?
Granted St. Mary's has been out of Business for a while, however there are still peoples ancestors there and no one to say what is going on to restore things that need to be corrected or at least to let any descendants know what is going on I know I have had at least one ancestor buried there maybe more, Am I just to ignore this? Does anyone have any suggestions please contact me at kathieis@hotmail.com to let me know your suggestions or post here. I appreciate it very much.
