My chart re John Baptist Cecil being the son of Thomas II and Susan Oxenbridge is based on English family records and oral tradition. John Baptist then left land in his will to each of his sons, of which Wm and Thomas were two of the seven. Based on all the information I could find, Wm married Elizabeth Bullock and produced Ann who was the first to marry into the Witten line, while Thomas married Frances Joyner and John their son married Eliz Sollars. I was working from MD records at the Newberry Library in Chicago and do not have duplicates of that information in my home. I was working backwards and forwards with the Wittens and the Cecils and the Clays to put the family groups together. Sorry I can't be of more help.

I know nothing of the DNA studies you speak of.
