Hi Amanda,

Sorry to say that I cannot make a connection to the ones you listed.

My line starts in Georgia (that is the earliest records that I can locate) in 1850 when James Ervin Cearley (shown as James Kearly and wife Nancy) is listed on the 1850 Cobb County, Georgia census.

James and Nancy had 2 children in Georgia;

John P. (believed to be Pickney) Cearley and Sarah Elizabeth Cearley. By 1854 they were in Travis County, Texas in what is now Austin, Texas. They had 11 more children in Texas.

After Nancy died, James, at the age of 68, married Sarah A. Polk, who was 44 years younger than James, and had 6 children. The last born in 1910 when James was 81 years old. James died 5 years later (1915).

In 1988 I collected information from the last child born to James and Sarah. He was still living in 1994, but have had no contact with him since then and do not know if he is still living.

I hope this helps in some way.

Betty........in Texas
