Hi, I just had the craziest thought. I just wanted to run it past you. No proof at all but-- Ruth Cearley the daughter of Larkin Cearley and Mary Barnes was born 1805 NC. She married
William Anderson 1836 in GA. That is pretty old to marry for the first time and then go on to have a lot of children. Betty
another researcher of James E. Cearley says that she had been told that Leander died 1836. This would be the same year that Ruth married William Anderson. Betty also thinks that a Barnes connection is involved somehow. Could it be possable that Ruth Cearley daughter of Larkin and Mary Barnes married first Leander Cearley he died about 1836 Ga. Ruth still a Cearley- then married William Anderson?????
Just a thought!
Elizabeth
