Patsy,
I show that Elizabeth is the daughter of John Carley, Sr. who was born in 1793. Elizabeth was born on 6-17-1821. She married Robert M. Davis and had two children, Sarah Elizabeth Davis and Rachel Davis. Sarah Elizabeth married Elisha Thornton Carley, her second cousin. Rachel Davis married Elisha Thornton Cearley, who was the uncle of Sarah Elizabeth's husband.
