Elisha Kerley md Harriet A. (maiden name unknown). He died ca April 1865 and she md second Alexander Kerley (Carley, Cearley) ca 1876 in Alexander Co NC. Would like to know if Harriet's maiden name Rowdin (Rlodin? spellings from 1860-70 census); information from 1870 Alex Co NC census: house 111/111 Sugar Loaf Township, Taylorsville PO notes Harriet A. Kerley 40 keeping house b NC, also in house is Cynthia Rowdin 61 domestic servant b NC. Is this Harriet's mother? I have not found that Harriet had children by neither Elisha nor Alexander Kerley. Another source seems to indicate that she may have had two daughters, one name unknown other Cinthia Rlodin? Could she be daughter-in-law of Cynthia Rowdin (aged 61)?. Who are parents of Elisha and Alexander Kerley; how are they related?
