I am trying to find any living relatives, or someone who knows what became of this family.
John Kaylor & wife Polly Abrams of Madison Co.,Ky. had a child Reubin Kaylor, who never married, but fathered a child by a Lucinda Gray in Madison Co.,Ky. Reubin was b.19 Apr.1846 / d.18 Dec.1891. The childs' name was Roscoe. Lucinda gave him the last name of his father, but changed the spelling to a "C" instead of a "K" in Kaylor. Reubins' family never approved of his living with Lucinda, and after his death in 1891, Lucinda moved to Ind. I don't know where in Ind. she went or if she married someone later or not. I was told by someone in the family that the son Roscoe married and had 2 daughters. Mildred Caylor Berry, who was living in Fl. in 1983 & Audrey Caylor who was living in Indlps. Ind. in 1983. I think they have now passed away, but have no clue as to who their family members are. Can anyone help? I have lots of info. on their Kaylor line, that they may like to have.
