John Koehler born 1777 in Germany married in Germany. Fled to United States ca 1815 -changed name to Kaylor - later, a son changed name to Caylor. John and wife, Mary had sons; William Jackson born 3-11-1818,(2) Thomas D. b 2--26-1821 and (3) David. Family was in South Carolina and then moved to Alabama. John and Mary buried in Alabama. Probability there were children before 1818 - does anyone have any information?
