Hi:

Does anyone have any information on a Christopher Cawthorn who is reported to have been a Sgt in the Revolutionary Army. His pension request was apparently denied by the DAR. The DAR Library in Washington, DC has nothing at all on a Christopher Cawthorn. It is said that he married a woman by the name of Margaret (maiden name unknown) My great great grandfather was Paul Liggon/Liggan who married Delila Cawthorn on Nov 30, 1815 in Henrico Co., VA. Delila was the daughter of Christopher.Delila had a sister named Lavinia Cawthorn who married Samuel Liggon the brother of Paul.

Any information will be greatly appreciated.
